About Lord Wapi
William Musonda Katongo (Lord Wapi) is a Lusaka-based satirical cartoonist, caricaturist, voice over artist and radio personality at DC Talk Radio 90.9FM. Born and raised on the Copperbelt (Luanshya, Ndola and Kitwe), he has spent the past eight years creating satirical cartoons focused on Zambian political and social issues.
His work is published on Lord Wapi Comics, a growing social media platform with over 13,000 followers across Africa. His cartoons have been widely shared by platforms such as Mwebantu, bloggers, public figures and media outlets including Muvi TV, sparking meaningful conversations and public discourse.
Beyond illustration, Lord Wapi is an experienced voice over artist and radio presenter. He has worked with brands including Trade Kings, Black Dot Media, Think Big, MTN, Airtel and Zanaco, and currently hosts The Breakfast Direct (Mon–Fri, 6–9am) and The Morning After Chill (Sat, 6–9am) on DC Talk Radio.
